About Branson's Wild World
Branson's Wild World is an animal park and aquarium at 2020 West 76 Country Boulevard in Branson, Missouri. Its website says the facility houses more than 400 species of mammals, fish, reptiles, birds and other animals across indoor and outdoor exhibits. It is not accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
Exhibits and habitats
The website describes more than 25,000 square feet of indoor exhibits and two acres of outdoor zoo space. Animals are grouped on the site as mammals, aquatic animals, creepy crawlers, birds, and reptiles and frogs.
- Aquarium. The aquarium includes colorful fish, sharks and turtles, according to the website. A touch area is included with admission.
- Living Dinosaurs. An exhibit the website describes as showcasing animals from the prehistoric era that survived extinction. The site lists ancient fish species, jellyfish, octopus, sharks, crocodiles, lizards and turtles among the animals shown.
- African penguins. A penguin exhibit is included with general admission, and the website lists a penguin encounter of about 30 minutes as a paid add-on.
- Lemur Playground. An interactive space with ringtail lemurs.
- Wild World Outdoor Zoo. The outdoor area includes the Tiger Temple, with tiger exhibits, and a wolf observation deck. The website also lists a paid experience with the zoo's dingoes.
- Animal Nursery. The website lists an animal nursery for interactions with baby animals as coming soon.
The attraction also has a gift shop, and the website lists paid feeding experiences for sharks, stingrays, crocodiles and otters.
Planning your visit
As listed on the zoo's website, hours are 10 AM to 5 PM, with the last tickets sold one hour before closing. The website states that the facility is closed on Christmas Day. Every ticket is valid for two consecutive days, and the website lists a ten percent online ticket promotion. Tickets can be bought at the attraction or in advance online, and prices are on the zoo's website.
The FAQ says most of the facility is wheelchair accessible, but a small optional path in the outdoor section leads downstairs and is not. Other policies listed on the FAQ:
- Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Service animals are not permitted, which the zoo attributes to the unpredictable reactions of wild animals and the chance that a service animal could carry a disease dangerous to them.
- Outside food is not allowed, with exceptions for special dietary needs and baby food.
- The facility is tobacco and smoke free, including e-cigarettes.
- Photography is allowed for personal use, but flash photography is not.
- Re-entry during the day is allowed with proof of purchase.
Season passes for 2026 cover unlimited visits from January 1 to December 31, 2026, and each includes two companion passes, one of which can be used per visit. The website states that only one discount is allowed per group. A park map is available on the website, and private parties can be booked. The phone number is 417-239-0204.

AZAThe Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Accredited members have passed an independent inspection of animal care and welfare, safety, conservation and education, repeated every five years. Many smaller facilities never apply, so “not accredited” isn't a verdict on its own. What accreditation means · How we check this
