Exhibits and habitats
The zoo's website describes a mix of kid-friendly farm animals and exotic animals. Its animal page lists the following.
Mammals: squirrel monkeys, ring-tailed lemurs, camels, llamas, raccoons, sheep, goats, Patagonian cavies, kangaroos and zebus.
Reptiles: a sulcata tortoise, basilisk lizards and bearded dragons.
Birds: emus, cockatoos, ducks, Indian runner ducks, chickens and peacocks.
The about page also mentions a cow among the animals visitors can meet.
The animal page includes a note that staff have to be careful entering the raccoon enclosure because the raccoons like to pick pockets. The about page lists camel rides and a covered picnic area.
Programs and events
The website lists general admission, birthday party packages and gift cards as the main offerings. It also advertises camel rentals for events and live nativity animal rentals. Bookings are handled through an online reservation system.
Planning your visit
General admission can be booked online, and the homepage says tickets are also available for purchase at the main gate. The general admission page lists infants aged 1 and under as admitted free, with separate categories for ages two to twelve, ages thirteen to sixty-four and seniors aged sixty-five and over, and a discounted rate for military and veterans with valid ID.
The cancellation policy on the site gives a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation, and also if the zoo cancels because of weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Cancellations are handled by phone, and no-shows are charged in full. The zoo can be reached at (352) 300-6688 or pettingzooocala@gmail.com.

Distances are straight-line. A dash means we haven't confirmed that detail yet, not that the zoo lacks it.
AZAThe Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Accredited members have passed an independent inspection of animal care and welfare, safety, conservation and education, repeated every five years. Many smaller facilities never apply, so “not accredited” isn't a verdict on its own. What accreditation means · How we check this
